ABOUT
ABOUT ME

Inspiration comes from everywhere. Whether I'm watching a high-fashion runway, rummaging through vintage collectables at a flea market, or flipping through used catalogs, I discover new ways to express my style. I am Aubrey Smith. I am a designer. I believe in the beauty of design.

WHAT I'VE DONE

My passion for design began with fashion at the age of 9. I started constructing clothes and eventually designed my own clothes. I also designed my entire apartment. My style developed throughout high school with my new found love for journalism and photography. Upon graduation, I furthered my love for design by becoming the Design Editor for Ball Bearings Magazine, studying fashion and designing and making DIY projects for my home

at Ball State University.

WHAT I DO

When I attended Ball State University, I  designed published work for Ball Bearings Magazine, Ball State's official student-run magazine, as well as the News-Press, a newspaper publication located in Fort Meyers, Florida. After graduation, I have been freelancing for multiple companies, focusing on art direction, photography and web design.
